Welcome! I’m Alex.

I’m a licensed therapist, clinical supervisor, and author.

If you are facing grief, anxiety, transition, trauma, or relational challenges, I’d like you to know one thing…

You don’t have to go it alone.

My Approach

My therapy practice is founded on Compassion, Empowerment, and Hope.

I believe there is immense transformational power in being willing to uncover and engage with what has happened to us in life. We all have an innate capacity to adapt to loss and transition and even find our way toward a fulfilling and joyful existence after the darkest of times. Our deepest pains can actually inform how we move forward rather than dictate how we remain stuck, but first we need the space to tend to them without judgment.

As a licensed mental health therapist, I offer psychotherapy rooted in collaboration and connection. I work individually with people navigating all types of grief, including the loss of loved ones through both death and estrangement. I also work with those moving through life transitions, relationship challenges, anxiety, trauma, and codependency, as well as those looking to better understand themselves and the patterns that shape their lives. I periodically offer group therapy for those grieving the loss of a parent.

What it’s like to work with me

When you come to session, know that you can set aside societal pressures to quickly “move on” from painful experiences or from who or what you have lost, and simply show up as you are. I approach our sessions with warmth and genuineness, bringing my personhood, humor, and empathy to the work.

I will give you the space to process what you are going through, but I will also actively participate. I will ask questions that help you dig deeper, offer honest feedback, and take a closer look at things alongside you. I believe that you hold more answers than you may realize, and part of my role is helping you uncover and trust them. Together, we can quiet some of the noise and make room for a deeper understanding of yourself, what you have been through, and what you want moving forward.
